About Living The Word

Do you remember that initial spark—the moment you woke up to your purpose? Where you suddenly felt alive, ready to take on the world?

Maybe it started as a tiny ember, but it grew into a bonfire of life-giving warmth. You were all light. All joy. And it seemed like nothing could ever stop what God was doing in your heart.

But then, maybe you trusted someone who wasn't trustworthy, who stole your fire and left you in the cold. Maybe rules or obligations snuffed it out, or life sent more rain than you could handle.

And even if you look perfect on the outside, you know you're not okay. You lost that special part of you, and now you wonder if it's too late to get it back.

We've been there, too — burned out, tired, and wondering if God could help us. We thought we had done everything right, only to come up short in the end.

We needed rest.

And when we went back to Him, we found grace for mistakes we had made. We found healing from disappointment and heartache. We received rest for our tired-out souls.

We discovered you can find glowing embers among the ashes. Hope and passion can spring to life again. And, with help from Jesus and trustworthy people, you can start a fresh fire — one you can sustain for as long as you live, bringing light and warmth to everyone you meet.

Find healing. Restart your fire. Help make a difference in the lives of others here at Living the Word Church.
